The main objective will consist of developing a suitable low cost and rapid printing technology for the integration of antennas (mainly for automotive safety applications) and passive electronic elements (resistors, capacitors, inductors) onto conventional automotive materials


LEITAT’s role in the project: LEITAT will participate in the ORF4AUTO project as a research organisation with a wide knowledge in organic and printed electronics to add a value and deal with the following activities:

  • Ink formulation for Digital printing systems (ink-jet) based on conducting Organic Polymers
  • Design and printing of passive printed electronic components (resistances, capacitors, inductances)
  • Characterization and modelling of the relevant parameters of these devices by design software.

LEITAT will be subcontracted by Advanced Automotive Antennas.
